Upcoming Event to Benefit North Texas Food Bank

Join us on November 29, 2011 from 6-8pm for a charity event benefiting the North Texas Food Bank. A group of students at UNT is organizing a month-long charity drive for North Texas Food Bank and capping it off with an event here at HSL. We’ll have live music, and a great time.
Over 15% of North Texans face food insecurity every single day, meaning that they are not getting 3 meals a day.
Our goal is to raise $2500 this November. We chose North Texas Food Bank because their record for getting aid out the door is amazing. $0.94 of every dollar collected goes toward actual aid right here in North Texas. $2500 will provide 7500 meals to hungry North Texans or feed 7 people for the next year.
Please join us in supporting this great cause. You may donate online with a credit card or mail a check or bring cash to our event on November 29 here at Hickory Street Lounge.
